Larry Cromwell - The Invisible Speedman

When the publisher Newnes launched their new weekly story paper the Buzzer on 17 October 1937,  Edwy was ready with a new series of stories.  Larry Cromwell, the Invisible Speedman, was introduced to readers in the very first number of the Buzzer, and appeared in every episode of the paper.  Unfortunately for Brooks, the paper had a short run, lasting only 36 weeks.    The stories are relatively short - about 6,000 words - but the plots are fully developed and detailed.  Indeed they are worthy of a lengthier format.
