Serial “Enter Sexton Blake”
Based on the serial “Enter Sexton Blake” by Berkeley Gray which appeared concurrently in Detective Weekly 310-321 (28-Jan-39 to 15-Apr-39). The serial was rewritten from SBL 2/641 (Oct-38) “The Three Frightened Men” and was rewritten as “Mad Hatter’s Rock” by Victor Gunn (1942).
Dates of performance: 26th January 1939 to 13th April 1939. Broadcast on the Regional programme at 3.30 and on the National programme at 7.30 weekly as part of the programme “Lucky Dip”.
Adaptation was by Ernest Dudley (the Armchair Detective).
